SHELBY RAEBECK grew up on Long Island's East End in Amagansett and now lives in neighboring Springs. In between, he studied and taught at schools and colleges in NYC, Boston, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Louisiana, Utah, and California.

His newly released East Hampton Blue is the third book of his East End Trilogy, joining the critically acclaimed novel, Amagansett '84, and story collection, Louse Point: Stories from the East End.

Raebeck is also author of the one-person play, Fremont's Farewell. His next novel, Homer's Dream, a tragi-comic Gen-Z odyssey, is due out in the spring of '25.

A former basketball player (high school, college, and a lot of pick-up), Raebeck now loves to hike along the beaches of the East End with his dog, Rusty, and, whenever possible, in the American southwest.
